Around 2015, Arlington ECC dispatched LA103 to a 2nd alarm structure fire at 1180 N. Vermont Street.  LA103 was on the road soon after with Falls Church Volunteer Chief Paul Schomburg and Captain Steve Sisler.  Falls Church VFD Ex-Chief Jim Clarke and CVFD Chief  Scott Pardi met the truck at the scene. 

ACFD units arrived with heavy smoke showing on sides Alpha, Charlie and Delta.  The fire was quickly extinguished, primarily by Engine 102 (Welcome Back to Captain Higgins) with an assist from Truck 104. 

LA103 remained on the scene until 0010 on 1/6 to assist the Fire Marshals with their investigation as well as helping the residents collect some of their belongings.  Canteen 106 also responded with some refreshments.
